Sachchidanand Foundation, Reg. No 2166 was established at New Delhi on 23 Feb 2006 by Lt Col Dig Vijay Singh (Retd.). The foundation trustees and other volunteer members look forward to an active involvement in social service.
Sachchidanand Foundation has been formed by likeminded people with the sole aim of helping the needy and imbibe good values and ethos thus developing better human beings leading to an improved society and strengthening the nation. Fostering secularism and traditional Indian systems of community living, yoga, Ayurveda and social service form the very core of the Foundation.
Objectives:
- To rejuvenate the old Indian traditions and values towards promoting the concept of living together as a joint family having behavioural and attitudinal changes in individuals for self happiness and selfless service to the society.
- To provide and support educational activities for focussed cultural, professional and socio-economic development of the individuals as well as the community
- To provide medical care and emotional healing touch to the deprived people especially the old, widows, children, poor and orphans
- To provide extensive support in the field of agriculture for better quality and quantity production and enhancing income of the farmers.
- To promote scientifically tested, traditional alternative methods and systems of eco-friendly living like Yoga, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Organic Farming and Natural Resources Management practices.
- To provide support to other Individuals / Institutions especially in the field of sustainable Agriculture, Financial management, House Keeping and Child Care, Aviation, Navigation, Human Resource Development and Educational / Technical counselling for their economic growth and sustainable development.
- To provide support to the families of war victims of Indian Armed Forces especially in the field of education, health and income generation.
- To encourage the idea of sponsorship, both National and International, for orphanage, childcare, development of widows and physically weak women and old and elderly citizens.
